Although schools are generally economising on school ski trips at present, they continue to be affordable at the Mölltaler Glacier. This is made possible by the Tyrolean Schultz-Gruppe. As owners of the Mölltaler Glacier Lift Co. and their own travel agency, they can take over the entire organisation for students, parents and teachers. School ski trip packages for 5 days including, transport, ski passes, accommodation and full board are available for as little as Euro 289 per student. The new course programme was developed by instructors and educators to suit all ability levels and has been approved from a pedagogical point of view. – And designed especially with the highest ski mountains of Austria’s southernmost state in mind: the Mölltaler Glacier and the neighbouring Ankogel, both score highly when it comes to snow-sure conditions and family friendliness. Thanks to its high altitudes of between 2,200 and 3,122 metres above sea level, Mount Mölli is one of Austria’s most snow-sure destinations right through to May. Of the 17 pistes in total, 6 are easy, 8 moderate and 3 are „black“ for the very experienced skiers amongst you. Most popular is the super-wide carving test run and the mega long FIS race course. Mount Ankogel shines with super wide slopes, an X-Large downhill valley run to Mallnitz and an extensive beginner’s area in the valley. School ski courses are not only important for learning basic athletic skills; teachers and school psychologists all agree that both team spirit and individual personalities are massively boosted during a school sports week. It is an important life experience to know how to correctly asses one’s own ability and learn how to make moderate improvements
