Early birds seeking sunshine and glaciers in Austria’s southernmost province meet from October onwards at Carinthia’s only glacier ski resort.  During the pow(d)erful opening parties at Mount Mölli you can try out the latest gear from leading sports goods manufacturers, and savour the cool side events and hot party atmosphere at 3,000 metres above sea level to your heart’s content. A perfect introduction to the glacier winter is provided by the Mölltal Opening (18^th–20.10.13) with a „Surprise“ on the carving test track and cool family deals. Followed hot on its heels by the Powder Opening (2th –29.10.13) with action on the slopes, a party in the evening and great children’s programme. Winter pleasure at its very best is promised at the Intersport Opening (16^th–17.11.13) with equipment tests, DJs and heaps of „Sun and Fun“. The Panoramarestaurant Eissee will be dishing out the appetizers during this jam packed opening programme. Austria’s highest conservatory at 2,800 metres will be offering special opening menus served against a backdrop of the 30 three thousand metre peaks belonging to the Hohen Tauern. A shuttle service will be in operation between Flattach and the Mölltaler Glacier during the „Opening-Saison“.
